Great portions, great recipes, Brownsville tortillas, and great dessert! Loved that they were able to accommodate my gluten food allergies. This place has it all.

So if you r visiting brownsville this place is where you need to stop and grab some food .different food plates to choose from,breakfast served all day the service is awesome, the staff is great very welcoming.you won't be disappointed you will be going back to try something different each time . highlights the seafood combination plate is awesome fresh fish and shrimp, chicken fried steak plate and beef&chicken fajitas, saugage with sides plate for 2 was excellent..enjoy

Big Daddy's has always had a good selection of food... I've always been greeted walking in.. The staff, food and atmosphere has always been professional, friendly. Thank you Judy for for always being attentive and kind!

Burgers have the old fashion homemade fresh taste, and the meat had a very good flavor. Bread was soft and fresh tasting. Service was really good, and the waitress was attentive. Was seeing the fish plate and other dishes coming out, and they looked really good and well served. Can't wait to try something different

I was in town for work and we stopped by there for lunch one day. I ordered the Texan Burger with fries. It was great, the meat pattie had great flavor and the jalapenos help it compliment it as well. The chips and salsa were good. I think the chips should be served in a bigger basket but that's a preference I reckon. My colleague got the fish tacos and said they were great. We also ordered their watermelon Fresca and wow! Absolutely amazing. If I'm ever back in town I'll be back.

This is the second time we’ve come into Big Daddy’s (in 4 days!) so needless to say...we like it! The first time we came we had the big daddy burger and realized we needed to come back. It was so good! The second time, pictured here, we ordered The Mexican from the Tex-Mex Eats section and Mama’s Soup. Everything, including the chips and salsa, came out hot, well-seasoned and tasting like a home cooked meal. We’ll be back for more!

First visit and was pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Both food and service were great. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken plate and it was among the best I've had. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Omgsh!! My taquitos were sooo good!! Flavorful, beef done just right!! Hubby loved his mollejitos - they looked like fried beef balls to me, but I just agree- they were tasty!! The servings were very ample, and the prices were not bad at all! The atmosphere is very friendly - to out-of-towners and regulars alike. No rush - just sit, talk, and enjoy. I'm glad we'll be here a few days so we can try other items off the menu - they have MILKSHAKES!!!!
